Kota Kinabalu, 21 April – 5 Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) ships, namely KD SELANGOR, KD KEDAH, KD SUNDANG, KD SERANG and KD GANAS have completed the Latihan Perang Borneo Series 4/21 or better known as Exercise Borneo War.
The exercise, which was carried out in the South China Sea, was also joined by RMN FENNEC Helicopters and HAWK Aircraft belonging to the Royal Malaysian Air Force.
Even during the month of Ramadan, RMN ships are always in the Maritime Operations Zone regardless of the time to control the security of the country’s waters.
Skills trainings such as communication, maritime knowledge and navigation are continued in the course of training / operations to ensure that the Navy People are ready and its assets remain alert at all times.
Latihan Perang Borneo Siri 4/21
Kota Kinabalu, 21 April – 5 buah kapal TLDM iaitu KD SELANGOR, KD KEDAH, KD SUNDANG, KD SERANG dan KD GANAS selesai beraksi dalam Latihan Perang Borneo Siri 4/21 atau lebih dikenali sebagai Borneo War.
Latihan yang terlaksana di Perairan Laut China Selatan ini turut disertai Helikopter FENNEC TLDM dan Pesawat HAWK milik Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia.
Walaupun ketika bulan Ramadan, kapal-kapal TLDM sentiasa berada di Zon Operasi Maritim tanpa mengira waktu bagi mengawal keselamatan perairan negara.
Latihan-latihan kemahiran seperti komunikasi, ilmu kelautan serta navigasi tetap diteruskan dalam pengisian latihan / operasi bagi memastikan Navy People bersedia dan asetnya kekal siaga sebilang masa.
