While moored at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Hawaii, BRP Antonio Luna FF151 – PF, the Philippine Navy frigate currently participating in RIMPAC 2022, was visited by counterparts from the Royal Malaysian Navy’s KD Lekir (F26) and the Indian Navy’s INS Satpura (F48) from July 6 to 7, 2022.

The ongoing Rim of the Pacific exercise provides a unique training opportunity while fostering and sustaining cooperative relationships among participants critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world’s oceans.

Twenty-six nations, 38 ships, four submarines, more than 170 aircraft, and 25,000 personnel are participating in RIMPAC from June 29 to August 4 in and around the Hawaiian Islands and Southern California. RIMPAC 2022 is the 28th exercise in the series that began in 1971.
