Kuala Lumpur, 23rd September 2024 – YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali officially began his duties as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence today.

His arrival was welcomed by the Service Chiefs, Senior Ministry Officers, and senior officers of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF).

YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali then received a salute from the Royal Ranger Regiment’s First Battalion Honour Guard in the grounds of Wisma Pertahanan.

Following this, he signed the commencement of duties document as a symbolic start to his new role.


YBhg. Datuk Seri Isham Ishak will take on his new responsibilities at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, while YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim has officially assumed the role of Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, effective today.

Kuala Lumpur, 23 September 2024 – YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali secara rasminya memulakan tugas sebagai Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pertahanan hari ini.

Ketibaan beliau disambut oleh Panglima-Panglima Perkhidmatan, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan Kementerian serta pegawai kanan ATM.

YBhg. Datuk Lokman Hakim bin Ali kemudiannya menerima tabik hormat Kawalan Kehormatan Utama daripada Batalion Pertama Rejimen Renjer Diraja di pekarangan Wisma Pertahanan.

Sejurus selesai, beliau seterusnya menandatangani dokumen mula tugas sebagai simbolik permulaan tugas.
