KUALA LUMPUR, 23 Dec 2024: The Commander of the Western Field Army (PMB TD), Lieutenant General Dato’ Seri Hj Muhammad Huzaimi Sabri, officiated the launch of the Bulkhead for the Multi-Launch Rocket System (SRLB) SS-30 at the Rocket Artillery Brigade Headquarters (MK BAR).
Formal Welcome and Ceremony
Upon his arrival, Lt Gen Muhammad Huzaimi was greeted by the Commander of the Rocket Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Mohd Tawil Hj Daud. A Quarter Guard inspection and salute were carried out to honor his presence.
As a symbolic gesture, PMB TD cut the ceremonial ribbon to inaugurate the SRLB SS-30 Rocket Bulkhead officially.
Significance of the SRLB SS-30 Bulkhead
This newly inaugurated bulkhead holds significant value, as it features the rocket personally launched by Lt Gen Muhammad Huzaimi during the SRLB live-firing exercise at the Tanjung Hantu Firing Range, Lumut, on May 30, 2024. The event was part of Eksesais Lembing Sakti, a major exercise demonstrating the army’s capability in handling the SRLB system.

The PMB TD emphasized the importance of modernizing military equipment and enhancing tactical efficiency. The SRLB SS-30 represents a critical step in boosting the army’s long-range artillery capabilities, ensuring preparedness for various operational demands.
