Originally stable belts are used when Cavalrymen were cleaning their stables, but in the 50\u2019s stable belts were introduced into the whole British Armed Forces. \u00a0Initially they were resisted by many senior officers, who saw them as too individualistic, but they soon became accepted throughout the forces. The long history of the stable belt makes them an essential part of every corps and regiment of the British Armed Forces, a tradition which has helped define each corps and regiment between each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Malaysia, the 32nd Army Corps\/Regiment Chairman Committee Meeting on 7 June 2005 decided that all Army personnel are required to wear the Stable Belt according to their Corps\/Regiment. The Stable Belt is only worn with No. 3 uniform. The use of this Stable Belt features regimental characteristics to personnel belonging of the Army Corps\/Regiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
