The \u2018Kedah\u2019 class patrol vessel and registered in Portsmouth in 1961 was commissioned in March, 1963. The vessel which has a maximum speed of 27 knots and is equipped with radar has served and served the country for over 20 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block; text-align:center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3314475734161595\" data-ad-slot=\"7610079946\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n\n\n\n<p>In this incident, Captain Lt. M. Chandran and 25 crew members survived while 3 other crew members were found missing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The sinking of KD Sri Perak in the South China Sea made history for the first time such a tragedy occurred in the RMN. Dalam kejadian ini, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kapten Kapal Lt. M. Chandran dan 25 orang anak kapal terselamat manakala 3 lagi anak kapal didapati hilang.
