SUBANG, 10 Feb 2023 – Based on the current situation of the earthquake disaster that hit Turkiye and Syria, the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) through the ATM Health Service will mobilize the staff and equipment of the Malaysia Level Three (3) Field Hospital belonging to ATM to Turkiye for a period of 6 weeks as stated by the Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan at a press conference session at Camp Lok Kawi, Sabah on 9 February 2023 in conjunction with his Working Visit to the Command Headquarters of the Eastern Fleet<\/a>, Teluk Sepanggar and the Headquarters of the 5th Division Infantry, yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main purpose of operating Malaysia Field Hospital in Turkiye is to express the pure desire of the Malaysian Government to provide humanitarian assistance to victims affected by the natural disaster. The main focus of aid is to support the Government of Turkiye through medical assistance and health services to the people of the country who are currently in difficulty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
