26 RMAF Personnel Complete ANKA UAS O-Level Maintenance Training in Türkiye Human Capital Technology 16th August 202516th August 2025 ANKARA, 15 August 2025 – A total of 7 officers and 19 personnel from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) have successfully completed the ANKA Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) O-Level Maintenance Course conducted at Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), Ankara, Türkiye. The course, which ran from 30 June to 15 August 2025, covered three comprehensive modules: Mechanical & Engine Systems, Avionics Systems, and Ground Control Systems. The training is a key step in preparing RMAF engineers and technicians to perform O-Level maintenance on the ANKA UAS, which Malaysia is set to induct into service early next year. During the closing ceremony, TAI’s General Manager for Academics expressed appreciation for the dedication shown by the RMAF participants and voiced confidence in their ability to effectively operate and maintain the advanced platform. He stressed that maintenance competency is critical to ensuring sustained operational readiness of the aircraft. This achievement marks another milestone in RMAF’s modernisation efforts, ensuring that its personnel are equipped with the necessary expertise to manage state-of-the-art unmanned aerial assets. Kursus ini telah berlangsung dari 30 Jun hingga 15 Ogos 2025 merangkumi tiga (3) modul iaitu Mechanical & Engine Systems, Avionics Systems dan Ground Control Systems. Kursus ini bertujuan untuk mempersiapkan jurutera dan juruteknik TUDM dalam melaksanakan penyelenggaraan peringkat O-Level bagi pesawat UAS ANKA yang akan dimiliki oleh Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) pada awal tahun hadapan. Pengurus Besar Akademik TAI merakamkan penghargaan di atas komitmen para pegawai dan anggota TUDM sepanjang latihan serta beliau percaya TUDM mampu mengoperasikan aset baharu tersebut dengan baik. Beliau juga menegaskan kepentingan kemahiran senggaraan amat penting bagi memastikan kesiagaan operasi pesawat tersebut sentiasa di tahap yang tertinggi. Tahniah diucapkan kepada semua peserta. Peningkatan kemahiran senggaraan dikalangan pegawai dan anggota ini amat penting bagi memastikan kejayaan operasi TUDM dalam mengoperasikan aset-aset baharu yang lebih moden dan terkini.
