A Warrant Officer with high seniority and extensive experience and knowledge.
The appointment of Warrant Officer is made by the Minister of Defence and not by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Call Me Encik, Don’t Salute Me
Warrant Officers are not called ‘Tuan” such as the commissioned officers, but we are called “Encik”. Members of the ranks need not salute the Warrant Officers.
