FPDA Exercise BERSAMA LIMA Begins in Malaysia

BUTTERWORTH, 1 Oct – Combined Exercises from five FPDA countries (Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom), BERSAMA LIMA 19 will focus on conventional warfare to train FPDA military personnel in performing joint operations in defending Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore.

Moreover, it indirectly enhances the level of professionalism and further strengthens the international relations of the countries involved.

Ex BERSAMA LIMA19, which focuses on Counter-Terrorism (CT), Maritime Security (MARSEC) and humanitarian assistance runs from 30 September to 17 October 2019.

Among the RMAF assets that will be involved in this exercise are the Hawk, SU30MKM, B200T, A400M, C130H and EC 725 AP helicopters.


BUTTERWORTH, 1 Okt 19 – Eksesais gabungan dari lima negara FPDA (Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapura dan United Kingdom), BERSAMA LIMA 19 akan memberi tumpuan kepada peperangan konvensional bagi melatih anggota tentera negara FPDA dalam melaksanakan operasi gabungan dalam mempertahankan Semenanjung Malaysia dan Singapura.

Selain itu, ianya secara tidak langsung dapat mempertingkatkan tahap profesionalisme dan memperkukuhkan lagi hubungan antarabangsa negara yang terlibat.

Eks BERSAMA LIMA 19 yang berkonsepkan Counter-Terrorism (CT), Maritime Security (MARSEC) dan bantuan kemanusiaan berlangsung mulai 30 September hingga 17 Oktober 19.

Antara aset-aset TUDM yang akan terlibat menjayakan eksesais pada kali ini adalah pesawat Hawk, SU30MKM, B200T, A400M, C130H dan helikopter EC 725 AP.
