PUTRAJAYA, Jul 2, 2020 – Admiral Tan Sri Mohd Reza bin Mohd Sany and Gen Dato’ Sri Ackbal bin Hj Abdul Samad were panelists in a forum at the National Resilience College (NRC) today. The National Resilience College Round Table 2020 discussed the topic “Armed Forces Capability Development Strategy: Towards Military Security and Preparedness” at the National Defence College (MKN), National Centre for Defence Studies (PUSPAHANAS), Putrajaya. MG Dato’ Hj Md Yusof bin Aziz acted as moderator for the discussion.

The Round Table Session with 20 senior officers from all three Services ranked Brigadier General / Colonel and equivalent attended the National Defence Course 2020 (NDC 2020) aimed at achieving “learning outcomes” and continuing academic learning through discussions on aspects related to Development Capability Development of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) that will drive “Malaysia in the direction of Security and Military Preparedness.” The sharing ideas and insights from the Service Chiefs in areas of capacity development is crucial for NDC 2020 students to fully understand “grand strategy” of the MAF.

The National Defence College, the MAF’s top university, has begun its first session of the NDC 2020 on 3 September 2019 for a year. The objective of this course is to produce a quality strategic thinkers capable of using the elements of national power towards national, regional and international security, stability and prosperity.


PUTRAJAYA, 2 Jul 2020 – Panglima Tentera Udara, Jen Dato’ Sri Ackbal bin Hj Abdul Samad TUDM hari ini telah hadir dan menjadi salah seorang panel bagi National Resilience College Round Table 2020 yang membincangkan berkaitan “Armed Forces Capability Development Strategy: Towards Military Security and Preparedness” bertempat di Maktab Ketahanan Nasional (MKN), Pusat Pengajian Pertahanan Nasional (PUSPAHANAS), Putrajaya. Turut serta sebagai panel adalah Panglima Tentera Laut, Laksamana Tan Sri Mohd Reza bin Mohd Sany manakala Komandan MKN, Mej Jen Dato’ Hj Md Yusof bin Aziz bertindak sebagai moderator.

Sesi “Roundtable” bersama 20 pegawai kanan dari ketiga-tiga perkhidmatan ATM berpangkat Brigedier Jeneral/ Kolonel dan setaraf yang sedang menghadiri Kursus Ketahanan Nasional (KKN) 2020 bertujuan mencapai “learning outcome” dan kesinambungan pembelajaran akademik melalui perbincangan aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan Pembangunan Keupayaan (Capability Development) Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) yang akan mendorong “Malaysia ke Arah Keselamatan dan Kesiapsiagaan Ketenteraan.” Perkongsian idea dan pandangan dari Panglima Perkhidmatan sebagai panel jemputan dalam hal pengembangan kemampuan adalah sangat berharga bagi penuntut kursus KKN 2020 untuk memahami sepenuhnya “grand strategy” ATM.

Maktab Ketahanan Nasional (MKN), adalah pusat pengajian tertinggi ATM dan telah memulakan sesi pengajian pertamanya iaitu Kursus Ketahanan Nasional (KKN) 2020 bermula pada 3 September 2019 untuk tempoh setahun. Objektif kursus ini adalah bagi melahirkan pemikir strategik berkualiti sebagai seorang negarawan (statesman) yang mampu menggunakan “elements of national power” ke arah keselamatan, kestabilan dan kemakmuran negara, rantau dan antarabangsa.
