RMAF and RMN Jointly Conducts Ex ANGSA STAFFEX

SUBANG, Nov 9 – The ANGSA (Angkasa Dan Samudera) exercise carried out jointly by the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) and the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) is the main platform in improving procedures and the level of professionalism of its personnel to carry out operations.

RMAF in a post on its social media said, the ANGSA exercise series 13/2021 is also the best platform to assess the readiness of both Services as well as improve compatibility in all aspects of defence planning whether air or maritime. The Exercise ANGSA was conducted at the Air Warfare Center (AWC), Subang Air Base with the concept of Staff Exercise (STAFFEX).

“This exercise from 3 to 18 November 2021 involves a total of 100 officers and members of the RMN and RMAF, in addition to aid elements from the Malaysian Army” he said.

Yesterday, the Commander of Air Operations, Lieutenant General Datuk Mohammad Salleh Osman RMAF officiated the Opening Ceremony of the ANGSA Exercise series 13/2021 at the AWC Auditorium.Commander of the Western Fleet, Rear Admiral Datuk Abu Bakar Md Ajis donning a Toha to the Commander of Butterworth Air Base, Brigadier General Shaiful Azuar Ariffin RMAF as Joint Force Commander.

At the ceremony, Mohamad Salleh witnessed the symbolic inauguration of the exercise through the wearing of Toha (Armband) and the handing over of the Exercise Starter Pack by the Commander of the Western Fleet, Rear Admiral Datuk Abu Bakar Md Ajis to the Commander of Butterworth Air Base, Brigadier General Shaiful Azuar Ariffin RMAF as Joint Force Commander .


Eksesais ANGSA uji keupayaan, kesiagaan operasi bersama TLDM dan TUDM

SUBANG, 9 Nov – Eksesais ANGSA (Angkasa dan Samudera) yang dilaksanakan bersama Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM) dan Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) menjadi platform utama dalam menambah baik prosedur serta tahap profesionalisme warganya bagi melaksanakan operasi.

TUDM dalam hantaran di media sosialnya berkata, eksesais ANGSA siri 13/2021 ini juga adalah medan terbaik untuk menilai kesiapsiagaan kedua-dua pasukan serta mempertingkatkan keserasian dalam semua aspek perancangan pertahanan sama ada udara mahupun maritim.

“Eksesais ini bermula 3 hingga 18 November 2021 melibatkan seramai 100 orang pegawai dan anggota TLDM serta TUDM, selain elemen bantuan dari Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM),” katanya.

Semalam, Panglima Operasi Udara, Leftenan Jeneral Datuk Mohammad Salleh Osman TUDM telah merasmikan Majlis Pembukaan Eksesais ANGSA siri 13/2021 di Auditorium AWC.

Pada majlis itu, Mohamad Salleh telah menyaksikan simbolik perasmian eksesais menerusi pemakaian Toha (Armband) dan penyerahan Starter Pack Exercise oleh Panglima Armada Barat, Laksamana Madya Datuk Abu Bakar Md Ajis kepada Komander Pangkalan Udara Butterworth, Brigedier Jeneral Shaiful Azuar Ariffin TUDM selaku Joint Force Commander. – airtimes.my
