100-Day Malaysian Family Aspiration Day, MAF Achieved 15 Initiatives and 6 Aspirations

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 December 2021 – The Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri today officiated the 100-Day Malaysian Family Aspirations (AKM) Open Day Program at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.

The program, which started today until December 12, is one of the government’s initiatives in further invigorating the spirit of the Malaysian Family across religions, races, skin color and borders.

The program also called on Malaysians to put aside their differences in rehabilitating the country to mobilize energy in the challenge of facing the COVID-19 pandemic and realizing the Vision of Common Prosperity 2030.

Among the contents of the program are career carnivals, cultural performances, art aspiration nights, entrepreneur sales, people’s sports, ministry achievement galleries as well as assistance programs.

Exhibition space from each ministry is one of the attractions provided to provide information to visitors on each initiative and the ministry’s performance achievements for the 100 days of government administration.

The exhibition space for the Ministry of Defence showcases the success of the Ministry led by the Senior Minister of Defence, YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein who paid attention to efforts to combat COVID-19, ensure national security and order and improve social welfare.

A total of 15 Initiatives from 6 Aspirations items as a 100-day benchmark as set have been successfully achieved by the Ministry of Defense. The six aspirations are Covid-19; Border Control; International relations; Housing; Jiwa Murni and Veteran of the Malaysian Armed Forces. As of December 8, 2021, all 15 of these initiatives have been successfully implemented and reached the target level of 100 percent.

Meanwhile, the Malaysian Armed Forces also promotes the career of the MAF through the exhibition space provided at Booth 50 Level 1 in giving visitors the opportunity to obtain more information related to admission as officers and members for each Army, Navy and Air Force service.

The Malaysian Family Aspirations was triggered by the Prime Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob as a manifestation to ensure a high performance work culture among civil servants so that service delivery can be implemented well to safeguard the interests and well-being of the people, especially in the post-pandemic period COVID- 19.

Also present with the Senior Minister of Defence in the opening of the program was the Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj. Affendi bin Buang RMAF and Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz.

Malaysian Family Aspirations

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 Disember 2021 – Perdana Menteri, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri hari ini telah merasmikan Program Hari Terbuka 100 Hari Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (AKM) di Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur.

Program yang bermula hari ini hingga 12 Disember itu merupakan antara inisiatif kerajaan dalam menyemarakkan lagi semangat Keluarga Malaysia merentasi agama, kaum, warna kulit dan sempadan.

Program ini juga antara lain menyeru rakyat Malaysia mengetepikan perbezaan dalam memulihkan semula negara untuk mengembleng tenaga dalam cabaran mendepani pandemik COVID-19 dan merealisasikan Wawasan Kemakmuran Bersama 2030.

Antara pengisian program adalah karnival kerjaya, persembahan kebudayaan, malam aspirasi seni, jualan usahawan, sukan rakyat, galeri pencapaian kementerian serta program bantuan.

Ruang pameran daripada setiap kementerian merupakan antara tarikan yang disediakan bagi memberikan informasi kepada pengunjung atas setiap inisiatif dan pencapaian prestasi kementerian bagi tempoh 100 hari pentadbiran kerajaan.

Ruang pameran bagi Kementerian Pertahanan mempamerkan kejayaan Kementerian yang diterajui oleh Menteri Kanan Pertahanan, YB Dato’ Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein yang memberi perhatian dalam usaha memerangi COVID-19, menjamin keselamatan dan ketenteraman negara serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial.

Sebanyak 15 inisiatif daripada 6 perkara AKM sebagai tanda aras 100 hari sepertimana yang telah ditetapkan telah berjaya dicapai oleh Kementerian Pertahanan. Enam aspirasi tersebut adalah Covid-19; Kawalan Sempadan; Hubungan Antarabangsa; Perumahan; Jiwa Murni dan Veteran Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM). Sehingga 8 Disember 2021, semua 15 inisiatif ini telah berjaya dilaksanakan dan mencapai tahap sasaran 100 peratus.

Sementara itu, Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) turut mempromosikan kerjaya ATM melalui ruang pameran yang disediakan di Booth 50 Tingkat 1 dalam memberi peluang kepada pengunjung untuk mendapatkan maklumat lanjut berkaitan kemasukan sebagai pegawai dan anggota bagi setiap perkhidmatan Tentera Darat, Laut dan Udara.

Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia dicetuskan oleh Perdana Menteri, YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob sebagai satu manifestasi bagi memastikan budaya kerja berprestasi tinggi di kalangan penjawat awam agar penyampaian perkhidmatan dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik demi menjaga kepentingan dan kesejahteraan rakyat terutamanya dalam menghadapi tempoh pasca pandemik COVID-19.

Turut hadir bersama Menteri Kanan Pertahanan dalam perasmian program ini adalah Panglima Angkatan Tentera, Jeneral Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj. Affendi bin Buang TUDM dan Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Pertahanan, Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz.
