KELANTAN, 4 August 2023 – The Army Western Field Commander (PMB TD), Lt Gen Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim and the 11th Airborne Division Commanding General, Maj Gen Brian S. Eifler have completed the Closing Ceremony of the Exercise KERIS STRIKE Series 28/2023 at the Parade Ground of the 16th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment (16 RMR) today.

The bilateral exercise held jointly by the Malaysian Army (TDM) and the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) lasted for 3 weeks and involved a total of 3,303 officers and members from the TDM and 414 officers and members from the USARPAC.

The closing ceremony of the exercise began with the removal of the TOHA worn by representatives of the Blue Actor, the Red Actor, EXCON, HICON, the Doctrine Evaluation Team, the Training Evaluation and the Observer representatives.

Maj Gen Brian S. Eifler in his speech stated that this exercise is very important in the exchange of military knowledge and experience in addition to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Also present at the closing ceremony of this exercise were 2 Div Commander, Maj Gen Dato’ Pahlawan Hj Muhammad Huzaimi bin Sabri, 8 Bgd Commander, Brig Gen Azudin bin Hassan, 30 Bgd Commander, Brig Gen Yazid bin Yusuf, Assistant Chief of Intelligence Staff, Brig Gen Abu Hashim bin Jamaludin Director of PUTD, Brig Gen Mohd Zaki bin Abu and the USARPAC delegation.

KELANTAN, 4 Ogos 2023 – Panglima Medan Barat Tentera Darat (PMB TD), Lt Jen Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim dan 11th Airborne Division Commanding General, Maj Gen Brian S. Eifler telah menyempurnakan Upacara Penutup Eksesais KERIS STRIKE Siri 28/2023 bertempat di Padang Kawad Batalion Ke-16 Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (16 RAMD) hari ini.

Eksesais bilateral yang diadakan secara bersama Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) dan United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) ini telah berlangsung selama 3 minggu dan melibatkan seramai 3,303 pegawai dan anggota dari TDM serta 414 orang pegawai dan anggota dari USARPAC.

Upacara penutup eksesais dimulakan dengan acara menanggalkan TOHA yang dipakai oleh wakil Pelaku Biru, Pelaku Merah, EXCON, HICON, Tim Evaluasi Doktrin, Evaluasi Latihan dan wakil Pemerhati.

Maj Gen Brian S. Eifler dalam ucapan beliau menyatakan bahawa eksesais ini sangat penting dalam pertukaran ilmu ketenteraan dan pengalaman di samping mengeratkan lagi hubungan bilateral di antara kedua-dua negara.

Turut hadir upacara penutup eksesais ini adalah Panglima 2 Div, Mej Jen Dato’ Pahlawan Hj Muhammad Huzaimi bin Sabri, Panglima 8 Bgd, Brig Jen Azudin bin Hassan, Panglima 30 Bgd, Brig Jen Yazid bin Yusuf, Asisten Ketua Staf Perisikan, Brig Jen Abu Hashim bin Jamaludin Pengarah PUTD, Brig Jen Mohd Zaki bin Abu dan delegasi USARPAC.
