CILODONG, INDONESIA, 13 September 2023 – The Indonesian National Army (TNI-AD) and the Malaysian Army (TDM) joined forces to successfully conduct the Ex LINUD MALINDO this year. The opening ceremony of this exercise was held at Gor Kartika, Cilodong, and presided over by Brigadier General TNI Novi Rubadi Sugito.

Ex LINUD MALINDO is an annual Bilateral Exercise between TDM and TNI-AD involving two main components, namely the 10th Brigade (Para) represented by the 17th Rapid Deployment Airborne Division (Para) and the 328th Para Rider Infantry Battalion (KOSTRAD) from TNI-AD.

The 17th Rapid Deployment Airborne Division (Para), led by Commanding Officer Lt. Col. Andy Herman bin Rahimi, with 5 Officers and 16 Non-Commissioned Officers, actively participated in this Bilateral Exercise. The joint training commenced on 12 September and will continue until 21 September 2023, at the YPR 328 Camp in Cilodong, Depok.

Through this exercise, the participating officers and personnel can share experiences, skills, and understand each other’s cultures, further strengthening the camaraderie between the armed forces of these two nations.

CILODONG, INDONESIA, 13 Sept 23 -Tentera Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (TNI-AD) bersama Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) telah bersama-sama berganding bahu bagi menjayakan Eks LINUD MALINDO pada tahun ini. Majlis Pembukaan Eks ini telah dilaksanakan di Gor Kartika, Cilodong dan disempurnakan oleh Brigjen TNI Novi Rubadi Sugito.

Eks LINUD MALINDO merupakan Eks Bilateral Tahunan di antara TDM dan TNI-AD melibatkan dua ketumbukan utama iaitu 10 Bgd (Para) yang diwakili 17 RAMD (Para) dan 328 Yonif Para Rider KOSTRAD dari TNI-AD.

17 RAMD (Para) yang diketuai oleh Pegawai Memerintah, Lt Kol Andy Herman bin Rahimi bersama 5 Pegawai dan 16 LLP telah hadir melibatkan diri dalam Eks Bilateral ini. Latihan bersama ini akan bermula pada 12 Sep sehingga 21 Sep 23 di Kem YPR 328 Cilodong, Depok.

Dengan pelaksanaan latihan ini, pegawai dan anggota yang terlibat dapat berkongsi pengalaman, kemahiran serta memahami budaya masing-masing seterusnya mengukuhkan keakraban di kalangan anggota tentera oleh dua buah negara ini.
