Historic Triumph: Malaysian Army Chief Inducted into Prestigious U.S. Military Hall of Fame

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 October – General Tan Sri Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan, Chief of the Malaysian Army, has been honoured as the 300th member of the International Hall of Fame (IHOF) at the United States Army Command and General Staff College (USACGSC).

Hafizuddeain received the prestigious award in a formal ceremony held on Friday at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, USA, making him the third Malaysian to earn this distinguished recognition.

The Public Affairs Unit of the Malaysian Army Headquarters stated that previous recipients included the 18th Army Chief, General Tan Sri Md Hashim Hussein, and the 19th Army Chief, General Tan Sri Mohd Shahrom Nordin.

“The award presented to the Army Chief is an extraordinary achievement, marking him as only the third Malaysian in history to be inducted into the IHOF at USACGSC,” said the Malaysian Army in a statement.

Hafizuddeain is an alumnus of the USACGSC, having completed his studies there in 2001.

“The entire Malaysian Army is proud and extends heartfelt congratulations to General Tan Sri Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan for this remarkable achievement,” the statement added.
