8 Jul 2019 – The Ambassador of Spain, His Excellency José Miguel Corvinos Lafuente has presented the Tie of the Order of Civil Merit to the RMN and Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).

The award is a recognition to the assistance given during the rescue of two Spanish nationals who went missing at sea in May 2016.

Admiral Datuk Mohd Reza received the award for the Navy in a simple ceremony this afternoon.
