Exercise Stallion Wheel 7/2019

JOHOR: The Stallion Wheel Exercise was conducted from 5 to 9 Sep 2019 around the Muar and Pagoh areas. A total of 14 Officers and 307 Other Ranks from the 10 Bde (Para) took part in the Exercise.

There are two stages of training that have been implemented throughout this Exercise.

The first stage of the long-distance drive was conducted from Terendak Camp, Malacca to the training ground in Pagoh.

This exercise is a simulation of the actual situation of moving troops to operational areas or even during the war.

Next, the second level of training involves the practice of night driving using convoy lights and Night Vision Device (NVD).

The training aims to expose and enhance personnel’ skills in the areas of overnight driving and vehicle maintenance. In addition, the training also enhances the confidence and ability of the drivers in the tactical aspects of night driving using the Night Vision Device (NVD).

Overall, the training has achieved the objectives outlined and has a positive impact on all involved, as well as enhancing the 10 Bde (Para)’s level of readiness as the Army’s rapid deployment force.


Eksesais Stallion Wheel Siri 7/2019

JOHOR: Eksesais Stallion Wheels telah dilaksanakan mulai 5 hingga 9 Sep 2019 di sekitar kawasan Muar dan Pagoh.
Seramai 14 kali Pegawai dan 307 Anggota Lain-lain Pangkat dari unit bawah naungan 10 Bgd (Para) telah menjayakan Eksesais.

Terdapat dua peringkat latihan yang telah dilaksanakan sepanjang Eksesais ini dijalankan.

Peringkat pertama pemanduan jarak jauh yang dilaksanakan dari Kem Terendak, Melaka ke kawasan latihan di Pagoh.

Latihan ini merupakan satu simulasi kepada situasi sebenar dalam mengaturgerakan Trup ke kawasan operasi mahupun ketika perang.

Seterusnya, bagi latihan peringkat kedua melibatkan tatacara pemanduan malam menggunakan lampu konvoi dan Night Vision Device (NVD).

Latihan ini bertujuan untuk mendedahkan dan meningkatkan kemahiran anggota kepada aspek pemanduan berhemah dan senggaraan kenderaan pada waktu malam. Selain itu, latihan ini juga mampu meningkatkan keyakinan dan kebolehan anggota pemandu dalam aspek pemanduan waktu malam secara taktikal menggunakan Night Vision Device (NVD).

Secara keseluruhannya latihan telah berjaya mencapai objektif yang digariskan dan memberikan kesan yang postif kepada semua anggota yang terlibat, disamping meningkatkan lagi tahap kesiagaan 10 Bgd (Para) sebagai sebuah formasi aturgerak cepat TD.
