Former 8th Malaysian Chief of Defence Forces, who was also the former 9th Chief of Army, General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Mohd Ghazali bin Hj Che Mat (Retired), 90 years old returned to Rahmatullah yesterday afternoon at the Tuanku Mizan Army Hospital.
The deceased’s body was safely processed at the Khalid Al Walid Mosque, Ministry of Defence and buried at the Bukit Permai Islamic Cemetery, Taman Perumahan AU with the presence of immediate family members only to comply with the SOPs that have been set.

The Chief of Army, General Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain and all members of the Malaysian Army expressed their grief over the passing of the late and expressed their condolences to the entire family of the late. May the soul of the deceased be placed among the believers.

Adalah dimaklumkan, Mantan Panglima Angkatan Tentera Malaysia Ke-8 yang juga merupakan Mantan Panglima Tentera Darat Ke-9, Jeneral Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Panglima Mohd Ghazali bin Hj Che Mat (Bersara), 90 tahun telah kembali ke Rahmatullah petang semalam di Hospital Angkatan Tentera Tuanku Mizan.
Jenazah Allahyarham telah selamat diuruskan di Masjid Khalid Al Walid, Kementerian Pertahanan dan dikebumikan di Tanah Perkuburan Islam Bukit Permai, Taman Perumahan AU dengan kehadiran ahli keluarga terdekat sahaja bagi mematuhi SOP yang telah ditetapkan.

Panglima Tentera Darat, Jeneral Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain dan seluruh warga Tentera Darat Malaysia menzahirkan rasa dukacita di atas pemergian Allahyarham serta menzahirkan ucapan takziah kepada seluruh keluarga Allahyarham.
