On 4 August, Commander 3rd Singapore Division (3 Div), Brigadier-General (BG) Goh Pei Ming and General Officer-Commanding 3rd Division Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), Major-General (MG) Dato Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim held an inaugural video teleconference call with each other.

Both Division Commanders were pleased to keep in touch with each other. BG Goh shared how the SAF bolstered the Singapore Government’s efforts to keep COVID-19 cases low, while also ensuring the safety of NSFs via strictly imposed Safe Management Measures. Both divisions affirmed that they have enjoyed a close relationship throughout the years and that they were not alone in facing challenges posed by the pandemic.
