KUANTAN, 22 October 2021-Exercise PARADISE Series 8/2021 (Ex PARADISE) will be the largest platform of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) for improving the procedures and level of professionalism of each member as well as optimizing the use of its assets.
The Commander of Air Operations, Lt Gen Dato’ Hj Mohammad Salleh bin Hj Osman RMAF when officiating the opening of Exercise PARADISE Series 8/2021 said, the exercise is also to determine a high level of asset readiness to ensure national defence is always preserved. He also reminded all those involved, to place emphasis on operational safety and compliance with the Covid-19 SOP throughout the exercise.
The combination of air elements such as fighter jets and “Air Mobility” ie transport aircraft and helicopters as well as ground support elements will highlight the potential and improve the performance of tasks involving various skills, experience and assessment when combined.
The exercise this time saw Kuantan Air Base acting as Exercise Controller (EXCON) and will also involved Subang Air Base, Butterworth Air Base and Gong Kedak Air Base. Elements from the Malaysian Army (MA) and the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) were also involved through the Ex Stallion Pack 2/21 and the Exercise GERAK PANTAS 25/21. From 22 October to 2 November 2021, the RMAF will perform low-flying flights during the day and night in several areas around the airspace of Peninsular Malaysia that have been gazetted for exercise locations.
Also present during the opening ceremony of the exercise at the Auditorium of Air Region 1 Headquarters (MAWILUD 1) were the Commander of Air Region 1, Maj Gen Dato’ Zahani bin Zainal Abidin RMAF, HQ Air Ops Centre, Chief of Staff, Maj Gen Mahadzer bin Amin RMAF; Commander of the 10th Brigade (Para), Brig Gen Khairul Azmizal bin Ahmad Natal; Deputy Commander of Marine Region 1, Laksma Pulendren Paramasivam RMN and senior RMAF officers.
TUDM UJI KEUPAYAAN OPERASI PELBAGAI SPEKTRUM DI DALAM EKSESAIS PARADISE SIRI 8/2021
KUANTAN, 22 Oktober 2021 – Eksesais PARADISE Siri 8/2021 (Eks PARADISE) akan menjadi platform terbesar Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) di dalam menambah baik prosedur dan tahap profesionalisme setiap anggota serta mengoptimumkan penggunaan aset-asetnya.
Panglima Operasi Udara, Lt Jen Dato’ Hj Mohammad Salleh bin Hj Osman TUDM ketika merasmikan pembukaan Eksesais PARADISE Siri 8/2021 berkata, eksesais tersebut juga adalah untuk menentukan tahap kesiapsiagaan aset yang tinggi bagi memastikan pertahanan negara sentiasa terpelihara. Beliau juga mengingatkan agar semua yang terlibat, memberikan penekanan terhadap keselamatan operasi dan pematuhan SOP Covid-19 sepanjang eksesais berlangsung.
Gabungan elemen udara seperti pesawat pejuang dan “Air Mobility” iaitu pesawat angkut dan helikopter serta elemen dukungan daratan akan menyerlahkan potensi dan meningkatkan prestasi tugasan yang melibatkan pelbagai kemahiran, pengalaman serta penilaian apabila digabungkan.
Eksesais pada kali ini menyaksikan Pangkalan Udara Kuantan bertindak sebagai Exercise Controller (EXCON) yang turut melibatkan Pangkalan Udara Subang, Pangkalan Udara Butterworth dan Pangkalan Udara Gong Kedak. Elemen daripada Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) dan Tentera Laut DiRaja Malaysia (TLDM) juga terlibat menerusi Eksesais Stallion Pack 2/21 dan Eksesais Gerak Pantas 25/21. Bermula 22 Oktober hingga 2 November 2021, TUDM akan melaksanakan penerbangan rendah pada waktu siang dan malam di beberapa kawasan sekitar ruang udara Semenanjung Malaysia yang telah digazetkan untuk lokasi eksesais.
Turut hadir ketika majlis perasmian eksesais yang telah diadakan di Auditorium Markas Wilayah Udara 1 (MAWILUD 1) ialah Panglima Wilayah Udara 1, Mej Jen Dato’ Zahani bin Zainal Abidin TUDM; Ketua Staf MPOU, Mej Jen Mahadzer bin Amin TUDM; Panglima 10 Briged (Para), Brig Jen Khairul Azmizal bin Ahmad Natal; Timbalan Panglima Wilayah Laut 1, Laksma Pulendren Paramasivam TLDM dan pegawai-pegawai kanan TUDM.
