EASTERN FIELD COMMAND HEADQUARTERS (MK PMTTD)

Based at Muara Tuang Camp, Kuching, MK PMTTD serves as the strategic defence and administrative hub for the Malaysian Army (TDM) in East Malaysia. Under the strong leadership of Lieutenant General Dato’ Mohd Sofi bin Md Lepi, the Eastern Field Commander, MK PMTTD ensures the protection of every inch of Sarawak and Sabah. The command oversees two key divisions:

📍 1st Division (Sarawak)
Headquartered at Muara Tuang Camp, Kuching, the 1st Division defends Sarawak through three main brigades:

• 3rd Brigade: Penrissen Camp, Kuching
• 9th Brigade: Rascom Camp, Sibu
• 31st Brigade: Junaco Park Camp, Sibu

📍 5th Division (Sabah)
Based at Lok Kawi Camp, Kota Kinabalu, the 5th Division plays a crucial role in Sabah’s defence with two key brigades:

• 5th Brigade: Paradise Camp, Kota Belud
• 13th Brigade: Cenderawasih Camp, Lahad Datu
