PLKN 3.0 Series 2/2025 Kicks Off with Unified Training for Male and Female Trainees Ops & Training 11th May 202513th May 2025 KUALA LUMPUR, 11 May 2025 – The National Service Training Programme (PLKN) 3.0 Series 2/2025 officially begins today, with all 550 participants undergoing identical training modules, regardless of gender or camp location. According to the Director-General of the National Service Training Department (JLKN), Major General Datuk Ya’cob Samiran, male trainees are stationed at the 505 Territorial Army Regiment Camp in Pekan, Pahang, while female trainees are based at the 515 Territorial Army Regiment Camp in Kuala Lumpur. “There is no difference in training content between the camps. Variations will only depend on the individual’s physical abilities and health conditions,” Ya’cob said during a media briefing while monitoring the registration of female trainees. He explained that physical training would be introduced progressively, increasing in intensity over time. The training structure remains consistent with PLKN 3.0 Series 1/2025, consisting of 70% military-based modules and 30% national identity components, with enhancements focused on hands-on learning experiences. The current intake comprises 350 male and 200 female trainees, all participating in a 45-day programme that runs until 24 June. Ya’cob noted that the registration process could take up to three days due to requests for late entry related to logistics and personal readiness. He also confirmed that JLKN welcomes voluntary applicants depending on available slots, with 30 voluntary trainees already enrolled. The previous session, PLKN 3.0 Series 1/2025, marked the revival of the national service programme after a seven-year hiatus. It saw 116 youths — 73 male and 43 female — complete the 45-day programme held at the 515 Territorial Army Regiment Camp. The reintroduction of PLKN aims to instil patriotism, unity, and resilience among Malaysian youth, equipping them with the mental and physical strength to meet future challenges. #PLKN2025 #NationalServiceMalaysia #YouthDevelopment #Patriotism #UnityThroughTraining Like this:Like Loading...
