First Ceremonial Regimental Sergeant Major of the Malaysian Armed Forces Human Capital 21st October 201921st October 2019 Warrant Officer I Saiful Hisham bin Abd Azis was born on 6 Jan 1978 in Bukit Baru, Malacca. Educated at Bukit Baru National Primary School and St David High School, Malacca. He joined the military on 14 August 1996 at the RMN Woodlands Recruitment Training Center Singapore. Upon completion of his recruiting training, he was transferred to the Seafarers Branch. With skills in Surveillance Warfare and undergoing Class II Specialist training at KD Pelandok as well as on-the-job training (OJT) onboard KD Yu for 6 months. Upon completion of his OJT, he returned to KD Pelandok to undergo a 6 month Class I training. He completed the training on KD Serampang which was his first unit and was commissioned as the 40/70 MM Bofors Chief. He has also attended a number of career and expertise courses organized by the RMN and civilian agencies including Class II Armor Class, 1st Class Armor, Senior PPP (Q), Senior PPP (Q), Armed Forces (GI Q), RMN Leadership, Training and Assessment, Physical Safety, CB 90 Boat and Boat Operations, Protocol and Ceremony Event Handling and Integrity Courses. During his service, he served on a number of ships and bases including KD Yu, KD Serampang, KD Admiral Tun Abdul Jamil, RMN Off-white Station (PAPA), Single Towing Boat, KD Malaya, First KDSI, RMN bullet and Explosion Depot, SKTLDM Parit , 96 HAT Lumut, Western Logistics Headquarters and finally at Navy Headquarters. With the support of his superiors and his hard work, he was entrusted to serve as the first Ceremonial Regimental Sergeant Major of the Malaysian Armed Forces on 27 Sep 2019. He is married to Mrs. Julainiakmar bte Aumran and has a son. SARJAN MEJAR REJIMEN ISTIADAT ANGKATAN TENTERA MALAYSIA PERTAMA Beliau dilahirkan pada 6 Jan 1978 di Bukit Baru, Melaka. Mendapat pendidikan di Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Bukit Baru dan Sekolah Menengah Tinggi St David, Melaka. Beliau mula menyertai perkhidmatan pada 14 Ogos 1996 di Pusat Latihan Rekrut Berek TLDM Woodlands Singapura. Setelah tamat latihan rekrut beliau telah diserapkan ke Cawangan Pelaut. Mempunyai Kepakaran Peperangan Atas Permukaan (PAP) dan menjalani latihan kepakaran Laskar Kelas II di KD Pelandok serta menjalani latihan sambil kerja (LSK) dikapal KD Yu selama 6 bulan. Selesai tamat LSK beliau kembali ke KD Pelandok untuk menjalani latihan Laskar Kelas I selama 6 bulan. Tamat latihan kapal KD Serampang yang merupakan unit pertama dan diperjawatkan sebagai Ketua Meriam 40/70 MM Bofors. Beliau juga telah menjalani beberapa kursus kerjaya dan kepakaran yang telah di anjurkan oleh TLDM dan agensi awam di antaranya kursus Laskar Kelas II, Laskar Kelas I, Laskar Kanan PPP(Q), Bintara Muda PPP(Q), Jurulatih Persenjataan(GI Q), Kepimpinan TLDM, Pembangunan dan Penilaian Silibus Latihan, Keselamatan Fizikal, Pengendalian Bot CB 90 dan Bot Tempur, Pengendalian Acara Protokol dan Istiadat serta Kursus Integriti. Sepanjang perkhidmatan beliau pernah bertugas di beberapa buah Kapal dan Pangkalan diantaranya KD Yu, KD Serampang, KD Laksamana Tun Abdul Jamil, RMN Stesen Terumbu Peninjau(PAPA), Bot Tunda Satu, KD Malaya, KDSI Pertama, Depot Peluru Dan Letupan TLDM, SKTLDM Parit, 96 HAT Lumut, Markas Logistik Barat dan terakhir di Markas Tentera Laut. Di dalam tempoh perkhidmatan beliau telah menunjukkan prestasi kerja yang baik, dipercayai oleh pihak atasan serta dapat melaksanakan segala tugasan yang diberikan dengan cemerlang. Atas sokongan pihak atasan dan hasil usaha yang tinggi beliau telah diamanahkan untuk menjawat jawatan sebagai Sarjan Mejar Rejimen Istiadat Angkatan Tentera Malaysia yang pertama mulai 27 Sep 2019.
