PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) have been in the field for over 48 hours in a non-stop effort to save Malaysians stranded by the floods.
Senior Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein has documented their tireless rescue efforts on social media.
MAF was working together and sharing expertise with the National Disaster Management Agency (Nadma) personnel, Fire and Rescue Team, Royal Malaysia Police, the Health Ministry and all relevant agencies to ensure smooth flood operations.
“I assure you, the involvement of the MAF will not be reduced. Instead, operations will continue to be upgraded over time as necessary,” he said on Sunday (Dec 19).
