Air Operations Commander Visits Ex Air THAMAL in Chiang Mai

CHIANG MAI: Air Operations Commander, LG Dato ‘Sri Hj Abdul Mutalib bin Datuk Hj Ab Wahab RMAF visited the ACMI Building, Wing 41 Air Base, where Air THAMAL 1 29/19 exercise took place.

He was welcomed by both RTAF and RMAF Exercise Directors as well as participants and was given a briefing on Exercise Command Post Exercise (CPX) concepts and visited training cells and exercise support cells.

Air Operations Commander was very pleased with the implementation of the exercise and related activities of both air forces and hopes that such joint co-operation will continue in the future.

Earlier, LG Dato ‘Sri Hj Abdul Mutalib also took part in Air THAMAL 29/2019 Community Relations Activities (COMREL) held at Ban Pong Noi School.

COMREL activity is a collaboration between RMAF and RTAF in helping to donate chairs and tables for school’s students. The Pong Noi School has a total of 514 students and 31 teachers.

RMAF, attended by Air Operations Commander, LG Dato ‘Sri Hj Abdul Mutalib bin Datuk Hj Ab Wahab RMAF and RMAF exercise participant while RTAF represented Captain Seksun Chaiyamart Group who also jointly handed out chair and table support to the school received by the Director The school is Mr. Chusak Niemtong.

The assistance will hopefully help the students’ comfort for learning as well as during the rest period where they are used as a place to eat. Also filling the program is a traditional dance performance by school students. Students also express their appreciation by praying for the health and well-being of the guests.
