Kuala Lumpur, 4 August 2019 – An RMAF Nuri helicopter made an emergency landing in the vicinity of Gubir Camp, Kedah at around 3pm today.

The helicopter, based in Butterworth Air Base, was carrying four crew members and 11 Malaysian Army personnel on a resupply mission.

All crew and passengers are safe and only suffered minor injuries. They were treated by camp medical personnel.

The RMAF have sent a rescue team to the incident location and will be establishing an investigation team to find out the cause of the incident.
