Kuantan, August 22, 2019 – Defence Minister YB Mohamad bin Sabu has been brought in for a cruise aboard KD PERDANA and has the experience and witness the RMN’ ability to carry out the Exercise Mini OSTEX 8/19 today.

KD PERDANA is a Fast Attack Craft (FAC) that is over 40 years old but with the energy and skills and expertise of the RMN personnel, the ship’s current assets can still operate. It is evident that the readiness of the RMN asset is always a priority.

He was also given the opportunity to try out the General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG).

Kuantan, 22 Ogos 2019 – Menteri Pertahanan, YB Mohamad bin Sabu telah dibawa untuk mengikuti pelayaran bersama kapal KD PERDANA dan merasai pengalaman serta melihat sendiri keupayaan warga melaksanakan Eksesais Mini OSTEX 8/19 hari ini.

KD PERDANA merupakan Fast Attack Craft (FAC) yang berusia lebih daripada 40 tahun namun dengan tenaga dan kemahiran serta kepakaran warga TLDM, sehingga kini aset-aset milik kapal tersebut masih boleh beroperasi dengan baik. Ini terbukti kesiagaan aset TLDM sentiasa menjadi keutamaan dalam apa jua keadaan.

Beliau juga turut diberi kesempatan untuk mencuba penembakan senjata General Purpose Machine Gun (GPMG) milik kapal tersebut.
