MARAKAH, 27 May 21-The MALBATT 850-8 Operation Cell has coordinated Independent Vehicle Patrol activities at night within the MALBATT Area of Responsibility.

A vehicle section with a strength of one officer and 8 members led by Capt. Muhd Farith bin Ibrahim from the Charlie Company carried out the patrol. Such operational activities are part of the routine implemented by MALBATT 850-8 in fulfilling the UN mandate under UNIFIL Resolution 1701.

The purpose of this patrol is to conduct ‘show of presence’ of UNIFIL troops in an ar of responsibility to ensure that there are no ‘hostile’ activities that could threaten stability, while avoiding unwanted activities.

MARAKAH, 27 Mei 21 – Sel Gerak MALBATT 850-8 telah mengkoordinasikan aktiviti Independent Vehicle Patrol pada waktu malam di dalam Kawasan Tanggungjawab MALBATT.

Satu Seksyen berkenderaan dengan kekuatan seorang pegawai dan 8 anggota yang diketuai oleh Kapt Muhd Farith bin Ibrahim daripada Kompeni Charlie telah melaksanakan rondaan tersebut. Aktiviti operasi seperti ini adalah sebahagian daripada rutin yang dilaksanakan oleh MALBATT 850-8 dalam memenuhi mandat PBB di bawah Resolusi 1701 UNIFIL.

Rondaan ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan kehadiran atau ‘show of presence’ trup UNIFIL di sesuatu kawasan, mendominasi KTJ bagi memastikan tiada aktiviti ‘hostile’ yang boleh menggugat kestabilan disamping menghindar aktiviti-aktiviti yang tidak diingini.
