SUBANG, 17 August 2021 – Chief of Staff of the Air Operations Command Headquarters (MPOU), Brig Gen Mohamed Fadzil bin Ismail RMAF has officiated the Inauguration of Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) Exercise PARADISE Series 8/21 (STAFFEX EP 8/21) which was also held through video conference from the Air Warfare Center (AWC) Auditorium, Air Region 1 Headquarters (MAWILUD 1) and Air Region 2 Headquarters (MAWILUD 2).

STAFFEX EP 8/21 is the best training ground for staff officers at formation headquarters to implement the “Air Operation Planning Process (AOPP)” and then implement actions at the next level.

Furthermore, STAFFEX EP 8/21 is expected to increase the level of human capital capacity with extensive knowledge, high expertise and build a strong spirit of camaraderie as the main thrust in the planning and implementation of effective air operations.

By taking into account the strategic importance of the military to test and enhance the capability and readiness in carrying out the functions and responsibilities of defending national sovereignty, the RMAF must always be in a state of readiness and ability in accordance with the exercise theme of ‘READY AND COMPETENT’ to deal with and repel any external threats, and ensure national security is always guaranteed.

Earlier, the academic phase was held by video conference on 9 August to 12 August 21. “Main Exercise Brief (MEB)” to the exercise participants was conducted on 16 August 21 at the same location.

The implementation of this STAFFEX EP series will for the first time use the concept of ‘safety bubble’ as well as adopting strict SOPs to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

PERASMIAN STAFF EXERCISE (STAFFEX) EKSESAIS PARADISE SIRI 8/21

SUBANG, 17 Ogos 2021 – Ketua Staf Markas Pemerintahan Operasi Udara (MPOU), Brig Jen Mohamed Fadzil bin Ismail TUDM telah menyempurnakan Perasmian Staff Exercise (STAFFEX) Eksesais PARADISE Siri 8/21 (STAFFEX EP 8/21) yang turut diadakan menerusi sidang video dari Auditorium Air Warfare Centre (AWC), Markas Wilayah Udara 1 (MAWILUD 1) dan Markas Wilayah Udara 2 (MAWILUD 2).

STAFFEX EP 8/21 merupakan medan latihan terbaik untuk pegawai staf di markas-markas formasi melaksanakan “Air Operation Planning Process (AOPP)” dan seterusnya melaksanakan tindakan di peringkat selanjutnya.

Seterusnya STAFFEX EP 8/21 yang dilaksanakan diharap dapat meningkatkan tahap keupayaan modal insan yang berpengetahuan luas, berkepakaran tinggi dan membina semangat setiakawan yang kental sebagai teras utama di dalam perancangan dan pelaksanaan operasi udara yang berkesan.

Dengan mengambil aspek kepentingan strategik ketenteraan bagi menguji serta mempertingkatkan keupayaan dan kesiapsiagaan di dalam menjalankan fungsi dan tanggungjawab mempertahankan kedaulatan negara, adalah kemestian TUDM sentiasa berada dalam keadaan bersedia dan berupaya sesuai dengan tema eksesais iaitu ‘READY AND COMPETENT’ untuk menangani dan menangkis sebarang ancaman luar dan memastikan keselamatan negara sentiasa terjamin.

Terdahulu, fasa akademik telah diadakan secara sidang video pada 9 Ogos hingga 12 Ogos 21. “Main Exercise Brief (MEB)” kepada peserta eksesais telah pun dilaksanakan pada 16 Ogos 21 di lokasi yang sama.

Pelaksanaan STAFFEX EP siri ini buat pertama kalinya menggunakan konsep ‘safety bubble’ serta mengamalkan SOP yang ketat bagi mencegah penularan Covid-19.
