KUALA LUMPUR, 29 November 2021 – The Malaysian Government has decided to continue organising Defense Services Asia (DSA) and National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia) for 2022.

In this regard, the Main Committee for both events met for the second time at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC), today.

The meeting was co-chaired by the Secretary-General (Sec-Gen) of the Ministry of Defence, Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz, Sec-Gen of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Datuk Wan Ahmad Dahlan bin Haji Abdul Aziz and the Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj Affendi bin Buang RMAF . Also present was the Chief of Arm, General Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain.

The meeting this time discussed the implementation of both events, namely DSA 2022 and NATSEC Asia 2022, scheduled for 28 to 31 March 2022 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

For the record, DSA 2022 is the 17th edition of its organization. Meanwhile, NATSEC Asia is a new segment introduced for the second time in the DSA, which comes with the aim of strengthening the involvement of the Security and Enforcement Sector.

DSA and NATSEC Asia 2022, will be implemented according to the new norms. Both events will be held in a “hybrid” and will also be equipped with a virtual application as a convenience to visitors and guests, both from within and outside the country who can not attend both events physically.

The Malaysian Army hopes that the planning for the organisation of DSA 2022 and NATSEC Asia 2022 will be realized and carried out successfully.

Indeed, such meetings are in line with the Second Pillar of the 28th COA Supreme Order, namely “Organisational Integrity” which emphasizes the competence of citizens with knowledge, skills and attitudes in the military and professional fields.

GERAKERJA DSA 2022 DAN NATSEC ASIA 2022, DIPERINCIKAN

KUALA LUMPUR, 29 November 2021 – Kerajaan Malaysia telah membuat ketetapan untuk meneruskan penganjuran Defence Services Asia (DSA) dan National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia) bagi Tahun 2022.

Sehubungan itu, Jawatankuasa Induk bagi kedua-dua acara tersebut telah bersidang buat kali kedua bertempat di Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), pada hari ini.

Mesyuarat tersebut dipengerusikan bersama oleh Ketua Setiausaha (KSU) Kementerian Pertahanan, Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz, KSU Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Datuk Wan Ahmad Dahlan bin Haji Abdul Aziz dan Panglima Angkatan Tentera, Jeneral Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj Affendi bin Buang TUDM. Turut sama hadir ialah Panglima Tentera Darat, Jeneral Tan Sri Datuk Zamrose bin Mohd Zain.

Mesyuarat kali ini membincangkan berkenaan pelaksanaan kedua-dua acara iaitu DSA 2022 dan NATSEC Asia 2022, yang dijadualkan pada 28 hingga 31 Mac 2022 bertempat di MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

Untuk rekod, DSA 2022 merupakan edisi ke-17 penganjurannya. Sementara itu, NATSEC Asia merupakan satu segmen yang baharu kali kedua diperkenalkan di dalam DSA, yang tampil dengan bertujuan untuk memperkukuhkan penglibatan Sektor Keselamatan dan Penguatkuasaan.

DSA dan NATSEC Asia 2022, akan dilaksanakan mengikut norma baharu. Kedua-dua acara akan dilangsungkan secara “hybrid” dan akan turut dilengkapi dengan aplikasi secara maya sebagai kemudahan kepada pelawat dan tetamu, samada dari dalam mahupun luar negara yang tidak dapat menghadiri kedua-dua acara tersebut secara fizikal.
Warga Tentera Darat Malaysia berharap agar perancangan untuk penganjuran DSA 2022 dan NATSEC Asia 2022 ini akan dapat direalisasikan dan dilangsungkan dengan jayanya.

Sesungguhnya mesyuarat sebegini adalah sejajar dengan Tonggak Kedua Perintah Ulung PTD Ke-28 iaitu “Keutuhan Organisasi” yang menekankan kompetensi warga dengan pengetahuan, kemahiran dan sikap dalam bidang ketenteraan dan bidang professional.
