KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 – The Malaysia – United States 7th Land Forces Talk Meeting was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from June 9 to 10, 2022.

The bilateral meeting, which is organized in rotation between the Malaysian Army (TDM) and the United States Army Pacific (USARPAC), is a medium to coordinate all defense cooperation activities which include meetings, exercises, visits, courses and exchange of expertise between TDM and USARPAC.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Chief of Staff Operations and Training, Major General Malek Razak bin Sulaiman, the USARPAC delegation led by Major General Matthew W. McFarlen and other TDM officers involved.

The conduct of such activities is in line with the Fourth Pillar of the 28th Chief of the Army Command, “Strengthening Defense Relations” which emphasizes the strengthening of regional and international bilateral cooperation.

PERKONGSIAN DUA HALA PERKUKUH HUBUNGAN PERTAHANAN TDM-USARPAC

KUALA LUMPUR, 9 Jun – Mesyuarat Malaysia – United States 7th Land Forces Talk telah diadakan di Hotel Grand Hyatt, Kuala Lumpur mulai pada 9 hingga 10 Jun 2022.

Mesyuarat bilateral yang dianjurkan secara penggiliran di antara Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) dan United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) ini adalah sebagai satu medium untuk mengkoordinasikan semua aktiviti kerjasama pertahanan yang meliputi aspek mesyuarat, eksesais, lawatan, kursus dan program pertukaran kepakaran antara TDM dan USARPAC.

Mesyuarat ini telah dihadiri oleh Asisten Ketua Staf Operasi dan Latihan, Mejar Jeneral Malek Razak bin Sulaiman, barisan delegasi USARPAC yang diketuai oleh Major General Matthew W. McFarlen dan juga para pegawai TDM yang terlibat.

Pelaksanaan aktiviti seperti ini adalah selari dengan Tonggak Keempat Perintah Ulung Panglima Tentera Darat Ke-28, “Pengukuhan Hubungan Pertahanan” yang menekankan aspek pengukuhan kerjasama dua hala serantau dan antarabangsa.
