Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI Visits Singapore Army

Singapore, 28 Oct 2022 – Yesterday, Yang di-Pertuan Agong XVI, His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Istana Negara, visited the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) Commandos in Pasir Ris Camp during his three-day State Visit to Singapore from 25 to 27 October 2022.

During his visit, His Majesty was warmly hosted by Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen and Chief of Army (COA), Major-General (MG) David Neo. His Majesty observed a display of counter-terrorism capabilities and visited the Airborne-Trooper Training Facility (ATF), and took a familiarisation ride experience on board The Republic of Singapore Air Force’s (RSAF) CH-47F Heavy Lift Helicopter.

His Majesty’s visit underscores the close and long-standing defence relations between Singapore and Malaysia.
