KUALA LUMPUR, 17 January 2023 – The Chief of Staff of the Malaysian Armed Forces (COS MAF HQ), Lt Gen Datuk Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad this morning inaugurated the 2023 ‘Satellite Awareness Day’ Program held at the Binary Auditorium, Haigate Complex of the Malaysian Armed Forces. (MAF).

The two-day program on 17 and 18 January 2023 with the theme ‘Satellite Communication for Strategic Extension’ is jointly organized by the Defence Cyber and Electromagnetic Division (BSEP) of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) with the Defense Industry Division (BIP) of the Ministry of Defence and Airbus Defense and Space aims to expose the managerial and professional level with the latest technology.

This program also received participation from 23 government agencies and companies as well as 15 local universities, schools including MAF residents with various activities held such as scientific discussions in the form of forums by invited panels as well as exhibitions from government agencies and local industries.

Also appearing to give the keynote address was the Director-General of Defence Cyber and Electromagnetics, Laksda Dato’ Ts. Shamsuddin bin Hj Ludin and the Deputy Director-General (Research and Development) of the Malaysian Space Agency, Mr. Adnan bin Ismail.

This joint program proves MAF’s commitment to lead space technology in realizing the MAF transformation plan through the Fourth Dimension of the Malaysian Armed Forces (4DMAF) in line with the Defence White Paper (KPP).

KUALA LUMPUR, 17 Januari 2023 – Ketua Staf Markas Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (KS MK ATM), Lt Jen Datuk Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad pada pagi ini telah merasmikan Program ‘Satellite Awareness Day’ Tahun 2023 bertempat di Auditorium Binary, Kompleks Haigate Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM).

Program dua hari pada 17 dan 18 Januari 2023 yang bertemakan ‘Satellite Communication for Strategic Extension” ini merupakan anjuran bersama Bahagian Siber dan Elektromagnetik Pertahanan (BSEP) Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) dengan Bahagian Industri Pertahanan (BIP) Kementerian Pertahanan serta Syarikat Airbus Defence and Space bertujuan untuk mendedahkan peringkat pengurusan dan profesional dengan teknologi terkini.

Program ini turut mendapat penyertaan daripada 23 agensi kerajaan dan syarikat serta 15 universiti tempatan, sekolah termasuk warga ATM dengan pelbagai aktiviti diadakan seperti perbincangan ilmiah dalam bentuk forum oleh panel jemputan serta pameran daripada agensi-agensi kerajaan dan industri tempatan.

Turut tampil memberikan ucaptama ialah Ketua Pengarah Siber dan Elektromagnetik Pertahanan, Laksda Dato’ Ts. Shamsuddin bin Hj Ludin dan Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Penyelidikan dan Pembangunan) Agensi Angkasa Malaysia, En. Adnan bin Ismail.

Program bersama ini membuktikan komitmen ATM untuk menerajui teknologi angkasa dalam merealisasikan rancangan transformasi ATM melalui Dimensi Keempat Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (4DMAF) selaras dengan Kertas Putih Pertahanan (KPP).
