SETAPAK, 5th December 2023 – Major General Dato’ Ts. Reizal Arif bin Tan Sri Ismail has officially assumed command of the 4th Malaysian Infantry Division (4 Divisyen) during the Handover Parade held at the Parade Ground of the First Battalion Royal Ranger Regiment (1 RRD), Wardieburn Camp this morning.

The handover ceremony was officiated by the Western Field Commander of the Army (PMB TD), Lieutenant General Dato’ Pahlawan Hj Muhammad Huzaimi bin Sabri and witnessed by a parade contingent of 16 officers and 380 Other Ranks (OR) from various formations and units under the 4th Division, led by the Deputy Commander of the 502nd Territorial Army Regiment (Rej 502 AW), Lieutenant Colonel Afzanizan bin Ismail.

The leadership of the 4th Division was previously held by the Commander of the 12th Malaysian Infantry Brigade (12 Briged), Brigadier General Sani bin S Omar, following the passing of the late Major General Dato’ Anuar bin Abdul Wahab on 13th Nov 23.

Also present at the morning parade were the Commander of the 2nd Infantry Brigade (2 Briged), Brigadier General Dato’ Hero Asri bin Shukor; Chief of Staff of the 4th Division Headquarters, Colonel Azman bin Zainudin, along with Senior Officers from the Formation Headquarters and Commanding Officers/Commanders of Units under the 4th Division.

SETAPAK, 5 Disember 2023 – Mej Jen Dato’ Ts. Reizal Arif bin Tan Sri Ismail secara rasminya telah dilantik untuk menerajui tampuk pemerintahan Formasi Divisyen Keempat Infantri Malaysia (4 Divisyen) dalam Perbarisan Serah Terima Tugas Panglima 4 Divisyen yang berlangsung di Padang Kawad Batalion Pertama Rejimen Renjer Diraja (1 RRD), Kem Wardieburn pada pagi ini.

Upacara serah terima tugas tersebut telah disempurnakan oleh Panglima Medan Barat Tentera Darat (PMB TD), Lt Jen Dato’ Pahlawan Hj Muhammad Huzaimi bin Sabri serta disaksikan oleh anggota perbarisan seramai 16 pegawai dan 380 anggota Lain-Lain Pangkat (LLP) terdiri daripada semua formasi dan pasukan bawah naungan 4 Divisyen yang diketuai oleh Timbalan Komander Rejimen 502 Askar Wataniah (Rej 502 AW), Lt Kol Afzanizan bin Ismail.

Tampuk pemerintahan 4 Divisyen sebelum ini telah dipangku oleh Panglima Briged Ke-12 Infantri Malaysia (12 Briged), Brig Jen Sani bin S Omar apabila penyandangnya sebelum ini, Allahyarham Mej Jen Dato’ Anuar bin Abdul Wahab telah kembali ke Rahmatullah pada 13 Nov 23 yang lalu.

Turut hadir pada acara perbarisan pada pagi ini adalah Panglima Briged Kedua Infantri Malaysia (2 Briged), Brig Jen Dato’ Pahlawan Asri bin Shukor; Ketua Staf Markas 4 Divisyen, Kol Azman bin Zainudin serta Pegawai-Pegawai Kanan dari Markas Formasi dan Pegawai Memerintah/Pemerintah Pasukan di bawah naungan 4 Divisyen.
