KUALA LUMPUR – The Chief of Army, General Tan Sri Dato’ Muhammad Hafizuddeain bin Jantan, witnessed the Change of Appointment Ceremony of the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of the Malaysian Army at the Auditorium of Wisma Pertahanan today.

The handover ceremony between the 9th RSM, WO 1 Shahamrie bin Abdullah, and the 10th RSM, WO 1 Mohamad Fauzi bin A. Rahman, began with the signing of the Handover Note followed by the Handover of Authority Stick to the new RSM.

All members of the Malaysian Army extend congratulations and best wishes to the new RSM. It is hoped that with this entrusted responsibility, the MA organization will continue to be led towards greater excellence in the future.

Also present were the Deputy Chief of Army, Lieutenant General Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim, the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Dato’ Zaidan bin Atan, Senior Officers of the Army, as well as Officers and Members of the Army Headquarters.

Majlis serah terima tugas di antara SMR TD Ke-9, PW 1 Shahamrie bin Abdullah dan SMR TD Ke-10, PW 1 Mohamad Fauzi bin A. Rahman dimulakan dengan acara menandatangani Nota Serah Terima Tugas dan diteruskan dengan Penyerahan Tongkat Kuasa SMR TD.

Seluruh warga Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) mengucapkan tahniah dan syabas kepada SMR TD yang baharu. Semoga dengan amanah yang dipertanggungjawabkan ini, organisasi TDM akan terus dipimpin ke arah kecemerlangan yang lebih baik pada masa hadapan.

Turut hadir adalah Timbalan Panglima Tentera Darat (TPTD), Leftenan Jeneral Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi bin Tengku Ibrahim, Ketua Staf Tentera Darat (KSTD), Leftenan Jeneral Dato’ Zaidan bin Atan, Pegawai – pegawai Kanan Tentera Darat serta Pegawai-Pegawai dan Anggota Markas Tentera Darat.
