MMEA Acquires New South African-Made VTOL ALTI Transition UAV

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has quietly acquired the new VTOL ALTI Transition UAVs from South Africa. These unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) boast an operational endurance of 12 hours and a range of up to 100 kilometers.

The UAVs will be utilized aboard Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPVs), with MMEA obtaining a total of 3 VTOL ALTI Transition UAVs for deployment on its 3 OPVs. The funding for these UAVs comes from the budget allocated for the OPV program.
