KUALA LUMPUR, 5 December 2024 – The Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) Professional Development and Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEEs) programme between the Washington Air National Guard (WA ANG) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) brought together personnel from the Malaysian Army (TDM) and Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).
The exchange featured collaboration with Senior Non-commissioned Leaders from the US Army and the US Air Force (USAF).
Jointly hosted by the MAF Headquarters and WA ANG, the programme was led by Regimental Sergeant Major (SMR) of the Malaysian Armed Forces, Warrant Officer (PW) I Shahamrie bin Abdullah, and USAF Chief Master Sergeant Allan L. Lawson. Discussions focused on enhancing career pathways and competencies for NCOs.
The RMAF component, spearheaded by PW Istiadat TUDM PW U I Mohd Rashidi bin Md Tahir and Chief Master Sgt Steve Nolan, aimed to share knowledge and innovative strategies to improve professional growth.
Among the notable attendees were RMAF representatives including PW Air Operations Headquarters, PW U I Mohd Iskandarshah bin Che Rus; PW Air Region 1 Headquarters, PW U I Khairi Affendi bin Mohd Rosli; and PW Kurikulum DGTA, PW U II Aseede bin Abdullah.
This event provided a platform for exchanging ideas, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the operational and professional standards of both forces, underscoring the shared commitment to excellence and mutual learning.

KUALA LUMPUR, 5 Disember 2024 – NCO Profesional Development and Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEEs) di antara Washington Air National Guard dengan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia telah diadakan di Wisma Bintara ATM melibatkan anggota LLP Tentera Darat Malaysia (TDM) dan anggota LLP Tentera Udara Diraja Malaysia (TUDM) bersama dengan Senior Enlisted Leader US Army dan Senior Enlisted US Airforce (USAF).
Program ini telah dihoskan bersama oleh Markas ATM dan WA ANG yang diketuai oleh SMR ATM, PW I Shahamrie bin Abdullah dan CMS Allan L. Lawson, US Airforce. Bagi perbincangan di peringkat anggota LLP TUDM ianya telah diketuai oleh PW Istiadat TUDM, PW U I Mohd Rashidi bin Md Tahir bersama Chief Master Sgt Steve Nolan, US Airforce.
Objektif program ini adalah untuk membincangkan mengenai penambahbaikan serta hala tuju pembangunan berkaitan laluan kerjaya anggota LLP dan turut berkongsi pertukaran maklumat dan idea mengenai kompetensi anggota LLP di antara dua pasukan.
Turut hadir sepanjang program tersebut adalah PW Markas Tentera Udara, PW U I Mohd Iskandarshah bin Che Rus; PW Markas Wilayah Udara 1, PW U I Khairi Affendi bin Mohd Rosli; PW Kesiagaan Kawalan Trafik Udara, PW U I Azizuddin bin Zainal Abidin; PW Keselamatan Penerbangan, PW U I Wahiyudin bin Wahid dan PW Kurikulum, DGTA, PW U II Aseede bin Abdullah.
