KUANTAN, 25 April 2025 – The Handover Ceremony for the Commander of Joint Task Force 2 (ATB 2) was held today at the Mat Kilau Auditorium, Joint Forces Headquarters (MK AB), Kem Al-Sultan Abdullah.

The ceremony witnessed the official handover of duties between Brigadier General Wan Edenin bin Wan Mahsin and Brigadier General Abd Munir bin Haji Abd Rani, who now assumes command as the new ATB 2 Commander. The event was officiated and witnessed by Commander of the Joint Forces (PAB), Lieutenant General Dato’ Zahani bin Haji Zainal Abidin RMAF.

A symbolic handover of the baton was conducted as part of the proceedings, signifying the official transfer of responsibilities.

With his leadership qualities and distinguished experience, the new Commander is entrusted with further strengthening ATB 2’s role in safeguarding areas under its responsibility, particularly under Operation PASIR.

Also present at the ceremony were the Assistant Chief of Staff J3, senior officers, as well as personnel from MK AB and MK ATB 2.

KUANTAN, 25 April 2025 – Majlis Serah Terima Tugas Komander Angkatan Tugas Bersama 2 (ATB 2) telah berlangsung di Auditorium Mat Kilau, Markas Angkatan Bersama (MK AB), Kem Al-Sultan Abdullah, hari ini.

Upacara tersebut menyaksikan penyerahan tugas di antara Brigedier Jeneral Wan Edenin bin Wan Mahsin dan Brigedier Jeneral Abd Munir bin Haji Abd Rani sebagai Komander ATB 2 yang baharu. Majlis ini telah disaksikan oleh Panglima Angkatan Bersama (PAB), Leftenan Jeneral Dato’ Zahani bin Haji Zainal Abidin TUDM.

Majlis turut diserikan dengan penyerahan tongkat kuasa sebagai simbolik penyerahan tugas.

Berbekalkan kepimpinan dan ketokohan yang dimiliki, Pelantikan Komander ATB 2 yang baharu diyakini akan terus memperkukuh peranan ATB 2 dalam memastikan kawasan tanggungjawab di bawah Op PASIR kekal terpelihara.

Turut hadir, Asisten Ketua Staf J3, pegawai-pegawai kanan serta warga MK AB dan MK ATB 2.
