Malaysia to Host KERIS STRIKE 2025 Joint Military Exercise with US and Australian Armies

KUALA LUMPUR, 13 July 2025 – The Malaysian Army (Tentera Darat Malaysia – TDM), in collaboration with the United States Army and the Australian Army, will be conducting the Keris Strike 2025 joint military exercise from 17 to 30 July 2025. The training will take place across several key areas in Ipoh, Sungai Siput, Kuala Kangsar, and Lenggong, Perak.

Held annually, Exercise Keris Strike aims to strengthen joint operational capabilities, enhance defence relations with strategic partners, and improve the Malaysian Army’s readiness in addressing regional security threats.

The Public Relations Cell of the Malaysian Army Headquarters released a statement urging local residents in the affected areas to remain calm and not to be alarmed by the presence of foreign military personnel, the movement of military vehicles and convoys, or any ongoing military activities during the exercise period.

Residents are advised to cooperate and stay informed throughout the exercise to ensure public safety and smooth operations.
