51st FPDA Consultative Council Video Conference Meeting with Singapore’s Permanent Secretary (Defence) Chan Heng Kee

KUALA LUMPUR, June 16, 2020 – Datuk Muez bin Abd Aziz, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence co-chaired the 51st FPDA Consultative Council (FCC) meeting through video conference today with his counterpart H.E Chan Heng Kee, Permanent Secretary (Defence) of the Ministry of Defence Singapore.

Despite the on-going situation of COVID-19, the FPDA member nations expressed their commitment to continue the FPDA business through virtual platform. The meeting discussed key items relating to FPDA administration, financial, activities, preparation for the 50th FPDA Anniversary in 2021, including the creation of the Director of Information, Security and Safety (DISS) position at HQIADS executive level. Overall, the meeting has progressed and achieved the FPDA agenda amicably and at a comfortable pace to all members nation.
