The Ministry of Defence is developing the first Defence White Paper (KPP). The main purpose of this document is to inform Malaysians about government priorities and future plans in enhancing national defense and security. This KPP will be tabled in Parliament in October 2019 before being accessible to Malaysians around November 2019.

This KPP will explain the government’s manifestation of the State’s intention, capability and vision of the National Defence Policy (DPN). This document also demonstrates the government’s governance sincerity, while maintaining the openness and accountability of the government in the procurement process of the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF) Defence Development Plan.
