National Task Force Visits Melaka Chief Minister

AYER KEROH, May 13, 2020 – The National Task Force (NTF) Leadership Delegation led by MG Abd Malik bin Jiran, Chief of Staff Joint Staff Headquarters and also NTF deputy commander with DCP Datuk Mastor bin Mohd Ariff, Deputy Director of GDP (PGA) and Maritime Vice-Admiral Datuk Hj Ibrahim bin Hj Mohamed representing the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MM) paid tribute to YAB Datuk Haji Sulaiman bin Md Ali, Chief Minister of Malacca.

This visit is the introductory phase and briefing on the functions of the NTF and the conduct of OP BENTENG led by the MAF, along with the RMP and MMEA and other enforcement agencies in improving the operation of border control of the country’s mainland and waters.

The intensified border control operation is aimed at preventing the country from being attacked by illegal immigrants (PATI) who are likely to carry COVID-19 and could create new clusters of the virus in the country.


KUNJUNGAN HORMAT DELEGASI KEPIMPINAN NATIONAL TASK FORCE (NTF) KEATAS KETUA MENTERI MELAKA

AYER KEROH, 13 Mei 2020 – Delegasi Kepimpinan NTF diketuai Mej Jen Abd Malik bin Jiran, Ketua Staf Markas Angkatan Bersama merangkap Timbalan Komander NTF bersama DCP Datuk Mastor bin Mohd Ariff, Timbalan Pengarah KDNKA (PGA) dan Laksamana Madya Maritim Datuk Hj Ibrahim bin Hj Mohamed mewakili Agensi Penguatkuasaan Maritim Malaysia (APMM) telah membuat kunjungan hormat ke atas YAB Datuk Haji Sulaiman bin Md Ali, Ketua Menteri Melaka.

Kunjungan ini merupakan fasa pengenalan dan penyampaian taklimat berhubung fungsi NTF serta pelaksanaan Op BENTENG yang diterajui oleh ATM bersama PDRM dan APMM serta agensi penguatkuasaan yang lain dalam mempergiatkan operasi kawalan keselamatan persempadanan daratan dan perairan Negara.

Operasi kawalan persempadanan yang diperketatkan ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengelakkan Negara dari dicerobohi pendatang asing tanpa izin (PATI) yang berkemungkinan membawa COVID-19 serta boleh mewujudkan kluster baharu virus berkenaan di Negara ini.
