RMAF Air Operations Commander Witness Air-to-Air Missile Firing (AAMF) Validation Program

The Air Operations Commander, Lt Gen Dato’ Hj Mohammad Salleh bin Hj Osman RMAF today, 18 Nov 2020, conducted a working visit to PU Butterworth to see the development of the Air-to-Air Missile Firing (AAMF) Validation Program involving RMAF fighter planes.

The Air Operations Commander witnessed more closely the air-to-air missile firing (AAMF) exercise involving F/A-18D Hornet fighter aircraft by boarding another F/A-18D Hornet fighter aircraft flown by Head of Training Division No. 18 Squadron, Maj Mohd Faizal bin Ab Rahim RMAF.

The AAMF training is conducted by the RMAF to maintain and enhance the competencies of various levels of officers and other personal, especially in ensuring that the RMAF remains vigilant in maintaining the sovereignty of our homeland despite the current the challenges of the global health crisis.


LAWATAN KERJA PANGLIMA OPERASI UDARA KE PU BUTTERWORTH

Panglima Operasi Udara, Lt Jen Dato’ Hj Mohammad Salleh bin Hj Osman TUDM hari ini telah melaksanakan lawatan kerja ke PU Butterworth bagi melihat perkembangan Program Validasi Tembakan Misil Udara ke Udara (AAMF) melibatkan pesawat-pesawat pejuang TUDM.

Panglima Operasi Udara telah menyaksikan secara lebih dekat latihan tembakan misil udara ke udara (AAMF) melibatkan pesawat pejuang F/A-18D Hornet dengan menaiki sebuah lagi pesawat pejuang F/A-18D Hornet yang diterbangkan oleh Ketua Bahagian Latihan No. 18 Skuadron, Mej Mohd Faizal bin Ab Rahim TUDM.

Latihan AAMF adalah latihan yang dilaksanakan oleh TUDM bagi mengekal dan meningkatkan kompetensi pelbagai peringkat pegawai dan anggota LLP terutama di dalam memastikan TUDM kekal berupaya bersiaga bagi menjaga kedaulatan tanah air tercinta meskipun ketika ini berdepan dengan cabaran krisis kesihatan global.
