Naqoura, 23 Sep 23 – The STEEL STORM exercise is a shooting exercise organized by UNIFIL involving UNIFIL troops from the Western Sector and the Eastern Sector as well as the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) with various weapon systems and armored vehicles carried out at the Naquora Firing Range, Naqoura.

This exercise aims to assess the level of competence and capability of Troops as well as the assets of the Contingent under UNIFIL in addition to increasing confidence in the capability of the weapon’s functions.

The closing of Ex-STEEL STORM was officiated by UNIFIL Deputy Force Commander, Brigadier General Chok B. Dhakal which involved a static exhibition and demonstration of firepower by all forces. Among the Assets used MALBATT 850-10 is APC Guardian 4×4 with GPMG weapon. In addition, this demonstration also involved infantry members from the MALBATT Combat Company.

Naqoura, 23 Sep 23 – Eksesais STEEL STORM merupakan latihan menembak anjuran UNIFIL melibatkan trup UNIFIL dari Sektor Barat dan Sektor Timur serta Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) dengan pelbagai sistem persenjataan dan kenderaan perisai dilaksanakan di Naquora Firing Range, Naqoura.

Eksesais ini bertujuan untuk menilai tahap kompetensi dan keupayaan Trup serta aset-aset Kontinjen di bawah UNIFIL di samping meningkatkan keyakinan terhadap keupayaan fungsi senjata.

Penutup Eks STEEL STORM telah disempurnakan oleh UNIFIL Deputy Force Commander, Brigadier General Chok B. Dhakal yang mana ianya melibatkan pameran statik dan demonstrasi kuasa tembakan oleh kesemua pasukan. Antara Aset yang digunakan MALBATT 850-10 ialah APC Guardian 4×4 dengan senjata GPMG. Disamping itu, demonstrasi ini turut melibatkan anggota infantri dari Kompeni Tempur MALBATT.
