GEMAS, 4 March 2024 – The Western Field Commander of the Malaysian Army (PMB TD), Lt Gen Dato’ Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Huzaimi bin Sabri, graced the Change of Command Parade for the 27th Commander of the 3rd Division held at the Parade Square of the 11th Royal Armoured Regiment (11 KAD), Syed Sirajuddin Camp today.

The Acting Commander of the 1st Brigade, Brig Gen Dato’ Mohamad Noorlizam bin Shamsuddin, handed over command to Maj Gen Datuk Zahari bin Mohammad Ariffin as the new Commander of the 3rd Division, witnessed by PMB TD.

The parade commenced with the signing of the Command Handover Note and was followed by the symbolic Handover of Authority Sword.

Led by Lt Col Mohd Hafidz bin Zulkifli, the Deputy Commander of the 508 TA Regiment, the parade comprised 18 officers, 508 other ranks, and 52 combat vehicles of various variants, including Pendekar, Adnan, MIFV, and Gempita.

PMB TD took the opportunity to deliver the PMB TD Directive 2023-2024 to the new Commander of the 3rd Division.

The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the 4th Mechanized Brigade, Brig Gen Wan Mohd Faizal Shahrin Bin W. Mohamad Fablillah, the Commander of the 7th Brigade, Brig Gen Suria bin Mohamad Saad, and the Artillery Commander of the 3rd Division, Brig Gen Khairul Izan Bin Muhammad Suffian.

The entire PMB TD community expressed their utmost appreciation to Brig Gen Dato’ Mohamad Noorlizam bin Shamsuddin for his service as the Acting Commander of the 3rd Division.

This event aligns with the Second Thrust of the 24th PMB TD Command, which emphasizes Strengthening the Organization and Professionalism.
