NEGERI SEMBILAN: The Change-of-Command Parade of the Commander of the Third Malaysian Infantry Division (3 Div) was held at the 11th Regiment of the Royal Armor Corps (11 KAD), Gemas on 18 March 2022.

The parade led by the Commanding Officer of the 14th Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (Mekanize) (14 RMR (Mech)) involved a total of 30 officers and 450 members of Other Ranks (LLP) as well as 12 vehicles of various variants.

The signing ceremony of the Handover Note and the handing over of the Command Stick between Maj Gen Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi Tengku Ibrahim and the Commander of the Seventh Malaysian Infantry Brigade (7 Bde), Brig Gen Mohamad Suria Mohamad Saad as the acting Commander of the 3rd Div. The ceremony was witnessed by the Army Western Field Commander (PMB TD), Lt Gen Datuk Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan.

Maj Gen Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi Tengku Ibrahim has served as the 25th Commander of 3rd Div for two years and eight months and will be assigned to represent the Malaysian Armed Forces to lead the 17th Mindanao International Monitoring Team soon.

After the parade, the ceremony continued with a dinner with the former Commander of 3 Div at Hangar 11 KAD before ending with the Street Lining event as a last respect.

Also present were 1st Bde Commander, Brig Gen Mohd Saifulisham Hj Baharun, 4th Bde Commander (Mech), Brig Gen Dato’ Zahari Ariffin and 3rd Division Artillery Commander, Brig Gen Norazman Ismail.

3 DIV BERTUKAR TAMPUK KEPIMPINAN

NEGERI SEMBILAN: Perbarisan Serah Terima Tugas Panglima Divisyen Ketiga Infantri Malaysia (3 Div) dilaksanakan di Padang Kawad Rejimen Ke-11 Kor Armor Diraja (11 KAD), Gemas pada 18 Mac 2022.

Perbarisan yang diketuai oleh Pegawai Memerintah Batalion Ke-14 Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (Mekanize) (14 RAMD (Mek)) melibatkan seramai 30 pegawai dan 450 anggota Lain-Lain Pangkat (LLP) serta 12 buah kenderaan pelbagai varian.

Acara menandatangani Nota Serah Terima Tugas dan penyerahan Tongkat Kuasa di antara Mej Jen Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi Tengku Ibrahim dengan Panglima Briged Ketujuh Infantri Malaysia (7 Bgd), Brig Jen Mohamad Suria Mohamad Saad selaku pemangku Panglima 3 Div disaksikan oleh Panglima Medan Barat Tentera Darat (PMB TD), Lt Jen Datuk Muhammad Hafizuddeain Jantan.

Mej Jen Dato’ Tengku Muhammad Fauzi Tengku Ibrahim telah menjawat jawatan Panglima 3 Div Ke-25 selama dua tahun lapan bulan dan akan ditugaskan mewakili Angkatan Tentera Malaysia bagi mengetuai Tim Pemantau Antarabangsa Mindanao Ke-17 tidak lama lagi.

Selesai perbarisan, majlis diteruskan dengan jamuan makan bersama mantan Panglima 3 Div di Hangar 11 KAD sebelum diakhiri dengan acara Street Lining sebagai penghormatan terakhir.

Turut hadir, Panglima 1 Bgd, Brig Jen Mohd Saifulisham Hj Baharun, Panglima 4 Bgd (Mek), Brig Jen Dato’ Zahari Ariffin dan Komander Artileri Divisyen 3 Divisyen, Brig Jen Norazman Ismail.
